Come and hear about the nun who was really a man; Isobel who made love upon national monuments; The poor widow of Bridlington; The Gorilla; The Castleford Ladies Magic Circle, and many more weird and wonderful characters. A sense of humour and a broad mind are essential!

The witty, idiosyncratic songs of Yorkshire's very own troubadour Jake Thackray brought him national stardom on radio and TV in the 1960s. He became something of a cult figure during his lifetime, and, following his death in 2002 many new fans have come to appreciate his genius.

This is an evening of gems, courtesy of four fine singers who share a passion for the work of this unique man.

Guaranteed hilarious!
