The Hobbit is an ancient inn high above Calderdale in the foothills of the Pennines in West Yorkshire. Talking to a man at the bar last October about Jake, I discovered that he not only knew many of his songs but was also in touch with many local Jake enthusiasts. So why not run a Jakefest in the country Jake loved! There are two shows. A matinee starting at 2pm in the lower bar and an evening performance in the upper bar starting at 7.30pm. There is no charge for entry, just a donation, whatever you can afford, to cover expenses and a donation to Cancer Research. Come and enjoy the country bus, the rain on the mountainside, plenty of real ale and good company amongst Yorkshire folk. The address is : The Hobbit Country Inn Hob Lane Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire, HX6 3QP Clive Hollins
