There will be a Thackray/Brassens evening with such performers as Goun and Didier (representing the French and singing the songs of Brassens), Ian Burdon, Alan Franks (a friend of Jake who has his own Jake-ish songs and poems), Steve Morrison and Mike Chiswell to name but a few . The gig is on 21 November 2009 from 7pm to midnight (doors open 6.30pm) at St Michael's Community Centre, 21 Wrotham Road, Welling Kent DA16 1LS. There will be a get together on the Friday evening of any who want to turn up at the Centre for an open mike session.
