unicorncover_smlWe now have stock of our first DVD release: 'Jake Thackray - Live at The Unicorn'. This is the only authorised video footage of Jake currently available.

The DVD features a show Jake played in 1989, and includes both songs and 'talking bits'. Jake is on top form, performing such classics as 'On Again! On Again!', 'The Kiss' and 'Sister Josephine', as well as less familiar gems such as 'Tortoise' and 'Our Dog'.

For those who saw Jake live, this DVD will bring back great memories. For those who were not so fortunate, it gives an intimate insight into his brilliance as a performer. Click on the TV screen above to see a sample.

Please note that, whilst the audio and video footage have been professionally restored, the original source of the recording is a VHS camcorder. The DVD is Region 0 (all regions) and is in UK PAL format. Please make sure that your DVD player and TV are capable of viewing this format.
