I ordered a copy of Jake's progress at Christmas for my friend. Unfortunately it was "lost in the post"!
Found it on Abe books last week for £8 so ordered it. My friend was really excited when I gave it to him.

Hi, this is my first post. My DVD arrived today and I'm looking forward to watching tonight. I saw the original programmes back in 81. I first saw Jake on the Braden show and then saw him at a local folk festival in Runcorn in 1979 when I was 20 years old and that was the first time I'd seen him live. Saw him some years later maybe mid to late 80s at Wigan Pier.
I love his music. I have a couple of vinyl albums, greatest hits and the album that accompanied the BBC shows. What a genius, what a brilliant lyricist and storyteller.
Welcome aboard, Supapeet. I hope that you enjoy the DVD - do post an Amazon review if you do! Your feelings about Jake's work are very much shared by the other members of this forum.
