That’s nothing; I remember Eamonn Andrews on Crackerjack, and Uncle Mac on Children’s Favourites……..

[color=#00C000]I also remember Pam Ayres about six years ago, in the same slot that Ed Stewart has now, reading out a letter from a listener called Tony, who was asking for news of Jake. She then played a track, but I can’t remember which. A couple of us contacted her and we were put in touch with Tony, but after a brief correspondence have since lost contact.

I used to rush home from school, make myself a tomato sauce sandwich and watch Crackerjack. But my absolute favourite was Art Club with Tony Hart.
