      Any of you who were at Jake’s Wake in the Black Swan in York all those years ago, or the Tramshed, will remember Frankie Jordan’s wonderful performances of The Hair of the Widow of Bridlington.

      I regret to say that Frankie has passed away.

        Oh how sad; I do remember Frankie’s performances – first time we’d heard The Widow sung by a woman and she put a completely different perspective on it.

        I always hoped we see her again.
