I’ve just come across this on the ITN archive website:

It appears to be a report from Calendar (Yorkshire local news) from 1990 featuring Jake. There’s no real info other than that, it doesn’t appear to be in the archive anymore and to add insult to injury they’ve misspelt Jake as Jack!
Does anyone remember this appearance, or even better have a copy of it? I guess it must be one of Jake’s last TV appearances.

I fear I’m of no help except to say that my own remembrance is that Jake was interviewed by ITV Wales (possibly then known as HTV) in Monmouth regarding some little local issue. Unfortunately it was so fleetingly brief and unexpected that by the time I realized what was happening it was all over and there was no “ITV Player” or “+1” facility in those days in order that one could backtrack (as it were) so, beyond that personal memory, I have nothing else to add. Sorry.
