Trouble with Topica

I have just received this mail from my ISP . I hope it may be useful to others. Sounds as though they can do nothing for me for the time being. I would think that if Topica know this, they would want to get themselves out of the s**t. Let’s hope! I have posted this on Yahoo too ::

Dear Judith,

I’m afraid that Topica have got themselves into a realtime database of known spammers called Spamhaus (www.spamhaus.org) this is one of many spam filters we use to protect ourselves and our customers from the large amount of unwanted and abusive email sent to the supanet.com domain everyday.

The Spamhaus reports can be found at:

We can not white list Topica as to do so would compromise the protection we have put in place for our users and it is of Spamhaus’s opinion that Topica have been behaving incorrectly by sending out unsolicited mail as reported to them from third party’s.

However if there is any relevant information we can provide Topica with so they can try to get themselves out of such lists then we will be happy to do so. I will be CC’ing this mail to Topica in the hope they will be able to sort out the problem.

I have not had any problems at all with topica. I have an email account with Zoom. This costs nothing and is really quite solid. I have recently started to get a bit of spam but not too much to worry about. I guess that I am just lucky at the moment.
