Trying to post a photo

I’ve now deleted the image so I can start my postings again with file names beginning with my initials – good idea Keith.

I’ve deleted my first test, and renamed this file JATtest02, following Keith’s sensible suggestion.

So that’s the solution.

Two points:
Judith’s used up Test01.jpg and Test02.jpg, so no one else can post files with those names. So I suggest prefixing image file names with your initials, just in case.

Judith’s first post included the URL for the file. I suspect that’s what happens if you press the "[img]"button. There’s no need for it, so I suggest you don’t bother pressing that button.

Here’s a pic of my life-consuming son, Charles, at a wedding last year when he was 10-and-a-half. He’s never yet made it to a gig but may make Devon.

Can everyone please keep images to no more than 400 pixels wide. Wider files cause the templates to break up.

I will be adding a gallery soon and members can post pictures there rather than the forum. 🙂

Nice pic Keith. And well spotted about names for files. I’ve now deleted my first test pic and renamed the second file JATtest02, so others can follow the same pattern.

Oh yes, and I did hit the button, and it hasn’t printed the URL. I think that was a one-off due to multiple-finger-fumbling as my frustration level increased.

Thanks for sorting us out. We still await some photographic gem from Malcy though. 🙂 🙂

Clare is indeed now 10. We spent the 5 days after her birthday in one of the Disney accomodation villages just outside Paris and I finally made it to the top of the Eiffel Tower on the Saturday.

We took one of Clares friends who did not know that we were going to Eurodisney and has a great time with Clare and I going on all of the rollercoasters whilst Maureen and Jane chickened out.

I will have to try to post some pictures when I get a chance
