'The Jake Thackray Experience' to play Beverley Folk Fesitval in June

The Jake Thackray Experience are a varied number of aficionados from all over the country who gather together, whenever and wherever they can, to perform the songs of their dear departed hero, Jake Thackray. They are playing on the Saturday of this year's Beverley Folk Festival in June.

Two events are planned for Saturday 18th June : an afternoon session where amateur singers can step up and play any of Jake’s songs, and a teatime concert performance showcasing Jake’s most beloved and hilarious work. Expect to hear Sister Josephine, Bantam Cock, Jolly Captain, Worried Brown Eyes, The Bull, On Again ! On Again !… all human life (and animal) is here !
