      I have just spent 20 minutes trying to add on to the “Glasses at 8pm” thread but have given up in frustration so rather than let the occasion pass without comment hopefully we can all remember our hero on this saddest of days, TWENTY years on ! I struggle to get my head around that.
      Gone but never to be forgotten.

        Thanks for the reminder, Hughie. Glasses at 8pm tonight it is, no doubt others will remember in their own way. This year we have the fantastic biography and the even more fantastic Jake at the BBC DVDs to keep us company – what a great year it’s been.

        I wonder if any of those will find their way into your Christmas Stocking?
