      On an aviation website, a member asked for other members’ favourite love songs. Can’t quite see the connection with aviation, but there you are.

      Someone posted the words to "The Blacksmith and the Toffeemaker." It produced the following comment, from someone in Australia:

      "I have never heard the song you quoted, and I’m not sure I’ll look it up, because I can’t see how music could make it any better. Gorgeous, simply gorgeous. Rarely does the printed word affect me like that."

      Another member posted the words to "Lah-di-dah." I’ve probably heard this song thousands of times, and I know the words, but to see them printed like that moved me in a similar way.

        No-one does a love song quite like Jake. (Love song for a BUS for goodness sake?)
        Encourage him to listen to ‘Blacksmith&..’ though as, of course, beautiful as the words are, Jake DOES add a little to it in performance…
