Dear Fellow Jake Thackray fans…I also play nylon string guitar, sing songs and studied French at Durham ..I discovered Jake a few years ago when someone generously said I reminded them of him. Thank you so much. I am slowly making an album. Very slowly! Then I’m not sure. Life is hectic and I’m no spring chicken…

I’m glad I’m not the only person who’s been reminded by you of Jake. I’ve often introduced you to new people by way of “Imagine if Jake Thackray were a woman, and writing today”.

Dear Paul,

Your kind words are really appreciated. I do struggle to get it together to finish recording the blasted album as I have kids and a job, but I continue to write and have a new song here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M84lz1Uz3uo.

and there is another one nearly nearly finished …days away so I’ll put it up when I’ve gigged it a bit to see if it works.
ANyway anyway encouragement always spurs me on to write a new song so I’ll let you know what comes out of your lovely message.
