After comperin’ an’ playin’ a stage at a large motorcycle rally, the Motorcycle Action Group organised ‘Farmyard Party’ held at Duncombe Park in Helmsley, the other weekend a mate an’ myself travelled up on our bikes to the Tan Hill Inn in the North Yorkshire dales, the highest pub in England at 1,732 feet above sea level. On the way there we rode through Swaledale which reminded an’ inspired me to cover this song, one of my favorites by Jake. CHEERS !!
I love it. I usually do this one acapella (even with my voice!) and found it always goes down well, with someone almost inevitably becoming helpless as they are hearing it for the first time!
I missed this rally, partly as it is a busy time at work and partly because my bike is struggling through MOT – I wish there was a Jake song about that!
