I don’t know if this has ever been suggested before, but has anyone else noticed the similarities between “Sister Josephine” and Eric Idle’s film “Nuns on the Run”? Was a debt ever acknowledged?

What an excellent suggestion! But seriously, folks, all those coincidences – Big Bad Norman/Desmond … on the run; tenderness towards the younger nuns (remember the shower scene with Robbie Coltrane and the girls?); the toilet seat; the shaving … I really do wonder whether the borrowings were subconscious.
Good luck and good fun with the Jakefest. I do sometimes feel a bit left out, stuck here in a foreign land that I now call home but will probably never BE home. Still, with Jake’s humour, poetry and sense of … life, I think I’ll make it.
