Fiona 2 February 2004 at 9:15 pm #3544Hello Fiona
Are you a Jake Thackray fan / lover / devotee or just someone in search of general news, thoughts and fun things?
Keith
2 February 2004 at 11:39 pm #3546and are you the same lovely Fiona that Gordon knows?///
and is your avatar a self portrait?
and did those feet…….????
Hello?
By the way, is it me or is the website not acknowledging me because I’m at a different computer or is it just not working as it should be? I don’t seem to get logged in with “Hi Pam!” or be able to log out properly – or see if there are any private messages for me.
sorry to complain – again 🙂
3 February 2004 at 4:11 am #3547Hello Lovely Fiona,
Soon to be moving to Poor Old Bloody Scarborough, I believe.
You’ll love it.
See you on the beach – a dog is essential, preferably a whippet, a flat cap and a good sense of humour!
Oh, and plenty of dog poo bags!!

3 February 2004 at 7:33 pm #3549Hi Keith,
I am indeed a Jake fan, his work was introduced to me by my charming partner the big chap.
I met you in York last year, my picture is deceiving as my hair has changed colour a few times since then.
Anyway, we are planning a big move before march, but hopefully we will be able to make it to the do in Liverpool with any luck.See you soon
Fi :laugh:3 February 2004 at 7:39 pm #3550Hi Pam,
Yes it is indeed Gordon’s partner Fiona.
Hope you are well,
Fi

3 February 2004 at 7:50 pm #3551Hi Sue,
Indeed, a move to dear old bloody Scarborough is on the cards. i dont think that our cats (or the big chap) would take too kindly to a dog. Although i think i will offer a service of dog-walking at the weekend as i do love dogs, and walking, especially on the beach in Scarborough.
THings are all moving very quickly, it is very exciting. I cannot wait to hand in my notice my work, then it will really feel real.
I hope all is well with yourself!
See you soon (hopefully!)3 February 2004 at 10:08 pm #3552Fiona wrote:

……………..See you soon (hopefully!)Yes Sue, are we going to see you at the MiniFest North West?
A few days ago I left a message for you to this effect on the private messaging service here, which I was trying out. But I wasn’t very hopeful that you would pick it up quickly.

I was pretty sure it wasn’t you, in fact, and thought you might be some surfing air-head who’d just chanced on this flame-free group of nice people and dropped in for a general newsy chat. Good to be wrong sometimes (not too often, mind).

Well, I think we can all relate to that…
Hi, Lovely Fiona ! Good to speak to you again. So, while he’s not listening, any juicy goss on the Big Chap ? Secret El Dorado fan, piles, unusual callouses ? 🙂

If you’re really interested in my secrets, Malcy. My obsession with Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, my rants and other such nonsense can be found at http://www.thebigchap.com.
Make sure you click the link or type in exactly as above. If not, you may find yourself on a site filled with porn for gay men.
4 February 2004 at 8:56 pm #3559he likes lovejoy and hetty wainthrope investigates
for this he will not be embarrassed, although he should be.
thats all for now, in a rush today, but i will think of embarrassing things to post, just to tease him you know!
bye :
5 February 2004 at 3:55 am #3560Oh dear. Now, to take the curse off it, I should really proffer some secrets of my own.
a) I can still do the Rubik’s Cube in under 1 minute 30 secs and will prove it if required.
b) I am a committed Elvis Costello enthusiast. I even bought “Kojak Variety”. See ?
c) On the subject of Lovejoy, my wife used to know the actor who plays Tink. Not really MY secret, now I come to think of it. Er…
d) I used to make cardboard scale model Daleks about 6″ tall, from an article in a Dr Who Special magazine telling you how to make a real one. They’re still at my mum’s house. Probably over 10 of them. Black and orange.
Back to the snail collection then… 🙂

I’m getting a bit freaked now, i am also a big fan of Elvis Costello and was the proud owner of the Doctor Who 10th Anniversary Special. My younger brother was the Dalek maker.
5 February 2004 at 11:44 am #3562Eek ! Aren’t WE going to have fun in the SWFest ? Bring your snails.
