Help with an old Jake song

Greetings from a new member , and apologies if this may have cropped before , but many years ago whilst still in school ( Intake High school as it happens – but after Jake left…. just), I heard Jake singing a song on TV ,about 1972 ish ? . All I remember is ..
" It was gigantic , it really was , elephantic , I’m not being , romantic, there never never never was a fish like this ..?
I have quite a few Jake songs in my collection , but I’ve obviously missed this one , or maybe it does not exist on disc ? any help would be welcome

Hello Old Coop and welcome along.

I’ve heard pretty much everything known to survive of Jake’s work and I have never heard this. Hooray! a new challenge.

What is hard to convey in text, is how jake sang it . The meter of the song , the line was really quite spaced out ( I could sing it !),

I don’t know whether the below helps, but I’ve put in the 4 beats to bar underneath where I figure the accents of the words are , as I say , It’s there in my head !
