I’m glad you put that, Richard. I didn’t understand a word of the original posting. Sorry, kitty. We may all have computers and such like nowadays, but we’re not all computer literate. Just as an aside, a few years ago I was peripheral to a converstation taking place in "computer speak"; at the end of it I chirped in, "Do you know, I understood every single word of that, AND NOT ONE SINGLE SENTENCE!"
I suppose it’s just possible that Kitty is a real Thackray enthusiast, but she’s also one of these people whose day job is spamming your in box with adverts for Viagra. And we all know how old habits die hard ? So whereas what she meant to say was "Does anyone else here think that Jake’s borrowing from the French Folk tradition was more than just a tribute to Brassens and Brel, but displayed a deep-felt love for the songs of Gaul" but it just came out as "Unlimited Creativity in Software Development, Web Designing, Flash Softwares" etc.
Maybe we could ask her to rephrase her question in a less-IT idiom ? :o)
I remember one night when a member of the resident band was being a nuisance, Jake turned to him and retorted "I’m being paid for being a pillock, what’s your excuse?"
