In today’s Metro paper…

On her iPod, Thea Gilmore has "Castleford Ladies’ Magic Circle" because "This is a personal indulgence for me. My dad used to crack me up singing this when I was little. Thackray definitely didn’t have cool status but his deadpan delivery and absurdist sense of humour never stop making me laugh". She lists this song as one of her iPod six-track mix.

I suspect that this makes me either appallingly ignorant or dreadfully uncool, but I had to Google Thea Gilmour to find out who she is!

She has good taste in music though, as did her dad…
