Maurice, Pam and Jean recently popped in to see me; for those of your who don’t know, I live in New Zealand, so they didn’t exactly jump off the Number 8 bus.
We had great fun, the day wasn’t half long enough, we laughed and talked on again, on again – and ate – and I felt I was losing old friends when they finally walked down the steps and away.
They brought Jake nearer too which was marvellous for me, living in country where, of the 4 million head of population, only seven have even heard of him.
I envy you in the UK being able to go to Jakefests and see the concerts.
