‘Missing’ Jake songs

In my various wanderings looking at Jake related items I have come across a few titles of which I’ve never heard before.
They are – ‘Tortoise’, ‘Tonton Georges’ (presumably about George Brassens), ‘The Cake’, and ‘The Mole’ (although this may be a misprint of ‘The Hole’)

Can anyone enlighten me?

Further to my inital posting, I found another note to myself….these titles are also on my ‘missing’ list – ‘A ripe old age’, ‘I’m just a dog’, ‘Municipal Workers Strike’ and lastly a partial title – ‘(word(s) missing) Shepherdesses’ – (NOTE -That’s Shepherdesses Plural – I know ‘The Shepherdess’)

Some of these are known.

"I’m just a dog" is on the Boxed set and the words are on this site (I also passed the chords to Malcy but I’m not sure if he’s posted them yet)

Municipal Workers Song was performed on Nationwide and the first line appears on the BBC4 documentary. The rest of it may still be in the BBC archives but is not indexed as such

Tortoise also appears on this site and was on the original JTProject cd.

I’m Just a Dog is a song I’ve performed twice at Jakefests and Tortoise is almost always on the setlist from someone at the same events

The rest are, apparently, lost along with several others including "The Appalling Mr Kinnel" which is noted on a list of songs and which the late Ian Watson said Jake sang to him once on a car journey

Municipal Workers Song does sound like one he did for TV.

So that gives me two to look for, and the rest may or may not suface…..
