New EMI releases

Fantastic news about the forthcoming releases from EMI. I am sure that this Project, and especially those who have been central to its activities, have helped to push EMI towards this decision. Well done to those who have done so much for the cause: what a result!

This is brilliant news – does anyone know if there will be US release of the material – and also will they be available through this site?

Excellent news indeed. I suspect the CDs will be available through normal commercial channels – Virgin was one on a previous release. To make them available through this site would involve a lot of work from volunteers – I suspect that if they are available from shops and commercial sites, the latter may be the easiest option. As I remember it the EMI ‘Easy’ CD ‘sold out’ and I understand is still deleted. It might be wise for people to buy these as soon as they come out. Richard, perhaps you have a UK contact who could help, if not available in the US through a website?

I will hopefully be able to add a link on the site pointing to an online store that will post worldwide. If the link is used, I should get a small commission on any sales. 😉

Thanks Phil and Ian, my family still live in Glasgow and it shouldn;t be hard for me to get hold of the releases – but Gordon’s answer was the reason I asked – we’re all going to buy them anyway so might as well support the site while we are at it.
