What’s going on here? Sue starts a new thread in which she appears to be responding to something I’ve said elsewhere – but I’ve forgotten what or where by now.  Was it in “Not a song”?

And Sue, I’ve just found two identical private messages from you in my inbox, which quote one I sent you a long time ago, but don’t seem to contain any response from you.  I will send it back to you so you can check.

Do we always get thrown whenever an upgrade makes things a bit different?

I don’t think that upgrades are responsible for things being thrown out of kilter. I have a theory that within every computer there is a randomising device whose sole purpose is to confuse and make the computer user feel inferior and paranoid. After all why is it that plug and play devices don’t!

I used to be easy going and generally quite confident in my abilities until this box took over my life. It is a conspiracy. They know where we are and are mocking our feeble attempts to master the black art that is known as networking.

I think that I will go and have a rest now so that I may be fully rested when I try to pick up tomorrow where I left off today.

I’m with you all the way – but do you ever get a feeling, when you pick up tomorrow, that you must have left off several days ago, and lost a few somewhere?

I say, how embarrassing to be exposed as the biggest poster (timewaster) of them all, at double the posts of the next in the list! Is that ‘sad’ or what? “Get a life Judith” I hear them cry. It’s because I miss the easy backchat of Topica, folks, from which I remain an outcast.

And I must confess I’m pushing along towards 75 postings, in the expectation that I shall at that point graduate from Gold to ….. what is it at 75? I’m sure Keith will tell me.
