Whilst wishing everyone a happy new year and all that, wouldn’t it be nice to think that 2007 may see "the powers that be" come to their senses and give us (O.K. Sell Us….)our D.V.D. release of "…and Songs":I suppose I’d be more likely to be successful in wishing for world peace,but you never know.Here’s hoping…

As regards the DVD, there is a strong likelihood that a it will appear during 2007. Quite when that will be depends in part at least on me getting my finger out and is nothing to do with the powers that be.

Well,that’s GREAT news,Ian;the BEST I’ve heard all year (even though this year’s only a day and a half old !). I’m all excited now,so I’ll have to go into a darkened room and calm myself down. Keep up the good work:all fun and frivolity aside,it is very much appreciated.
Well,look:time’s getting on now and it’s upward of three months or so since we discussed this business.What’s the latest,then? Erm,I don’t want to make a meal of this but,well,you know…! Perhaps you could,well,just keep us poor sods informed of what’s happening.I mean,I know it’s something of nothing but,well,you know,it’s just that it means something to us:and we don’t know what’s going on; well,apart from vague promises of something going on. See what you think:perhaps someone,somewhere,(sometime),could give us an update.
Incidentally,why is the clock SEVEN hours out ? It makes me look like an insomniac,posting things at almost three in the morning when it’s only eight the previous evening (I’m typing this at 8 on the evening of Monday 16th:look what it says on the "posting" time! Sorry,just a small criticism there!!!))

I’m a bit reluctant to announce something until I am sure that it is happening as I do not want to raise expectations which can’t be met.
In brief, we have a price from the BBC and we are putting together the other costs associated with the production. We have also had to spend a long time on the rights of other artists appearing and making some tough decisions. Once the costs are firm we’ll send a general message saying what is happening and to guage interest. Bear with us a little longer…
