First of all a BIG thank you to all who have obviously put in a tremendous effort of love to get this out. You know who you are.
Our two copies were received on Friday and we saved viewing until Sunday. Would you believe my two favourite songs were there. I even knew the Jokes that Jake used. They were around when my children were small in the late 60’s to early 70s. Even “Crunch Pies” is based on a joke current about that time. But Jake did it better….. Well we were raising our children about the same time. A very Joyfull Christmas Everybody.ALL who were involved. I am so glad I was here. A merry Christmas to all from us three, C,S and B.
Mine is…… Ours is
"But there are days enough when the love is racked and pinioned, Which nobody else knows better than we two do." and "But you know well enough that I am much more choosy. I want day-to-day to find myself with you.
With the cheek-to-cheek, the tooth and claw, The milk and honey and the bread and water, Dearest, I want everything to do with you."
Even after 26 years we two do.From Sonia and I quote.."If it wasThe Hole that finished them off, something must have struck home …somewhere" B)
Well it looks as though I have arrived too! Now if only I can find out how to post a picture of me ….or should it be Bertie….? He has more hair than I do. Mumble mumble…Hope to see you at The Magazine. and thanks Gordon for the video and MP3. Lovely to see Jake again.
