A very belated public thank you from me! As you know, I’ve been a bit floored by the kind words of noted Thackarians(?) such as yourself, and so glad that you enjoyed it. So let me put this on record here – as a writer, it’s just humbling to read Jake’s stuff; I think it would be an honourable aspiration to be one hundredth as good as he was.
