It’s been a couple of weeks now, but I thought I too ought to add my appreciation of that wonderful evening at Welling. Everyone who performed was excellent. How you managed to put it all together at such a low price is beyond me. Even the food was unbelievably cheap!

The event made me realise that I really needed to expand my Jake Thackray collection (from two LPs and two compilation CDs), so I lost no time in ordering the double-CD of “live Performance”. The original LP is one of the two I had, and it is so welcome to see the balance of the concert now made available.

I had more difficulty in getting hold of the all-important “Jake In A Box” set, and after putting in a speculative order at Esprit (suspecting that the set was deleted), I saw it advertised with a reasonable “Buy It Now” price on eBay and snapped it up. Yes… you’ve guessed it… Esprit came through and I now have two copies! :unsure:

Still, that’s better than none… :blink:
