I’m sure I might asking something that can’t be answered, but (here goes) – is there any date for the release of the eagerly awaited Jake DVD yet? Am just trying to get a handle on when it might be surfacing (I’ve registered my request for a copy!).
Really looking forward to the DVD surfacing, the clips looked great!!

I think it may have been ME who bought the recently eBay’ed "and songs". I have just transferred it to CDR for my own pleasure and will be playing it to death over Christmas; it is surely the best live album I have heard for many a year .. and it was recorded just up the road from where I live, here in Milton Keynes.
Buying it was a bit traumatic… I saw it on eBay late the night before the auction finished, and tried to buy it the next morning – but my internet went down for half the day, grrrr. When it came back the auction was ended without a sale. I emailed the guy and asked if he could re-advertise it as a "buy it now"… and HE DID!!! Long story cut short, but I paid for it and it arrived just two days later (yesterday), and I am so glad it did. And I’m very grateful to the seller for his re-advertising it so promptly. It’s a shame it hasn’t officially come out on CD, I would love to have a proper digital transfer of it (oh, AND all the project CDs that I missed out on… are they all unavailable now, does anyone know?).
One day maybe we will see a DVD of his work at the BBC, they obviously still have quite a bit in their archive, if the recent documentary is anything to go by.
