        a very thorough and fascinating explanation, jamie. i think, faced with the non-compliance of some guests i would have done the same thing, quite the most sensible option.

          I must confess that although I’m overjoyed with the release of the dvd, I was rather looking forward to sampling it in the original episodic format.

            i hope these aren’t in limited supply like the unicorn dvd? i daren’t grab one till after my birthday next week (if i need to at all!)

              I for one am very excited and happy to wait as long as it takes.

              can you tell us anything about the work that is being done? is it restoration, or compilation of extra materials? no worries if it’s all top secret

                fantastic news! thanks so much for letting me know – means i can discontinue my plans to pay hundreds per contributor copy or steal the BFI tapes!
